Expanding Your Off-Grid System

As time changes sometimes so do the requirements of your off grid system whether it be adding more lithium batteries at a later date, adding more Solar, adding a new generator or adding another inverter.

Solar

Sometimes there is more room on your current controller, but if not don't despair. By adding more charge controllers, you can add as much solar as you'd like!

Batteries

If your system has lithium batteries it is usually quite simple to add more batteries at a later date. Especially if you have room in your cabinet like in the video below, you only have to plug the positive/negative cables and add the communication cable. If you have used all of the available space in the cabinet, call Commodore and we will assist with another cabinet and will explain how more batteries can be integrated into your system.

Inverter

Have you added more appliances to your home like air conditioners and find your inverter struggling with overload warnings at certain times? Especially when you're cooking?
